According to CBS Entertainment president Nina Tassler, the character 'Walden Schmidt', played by actor Ashton Kutcher, on the series premiere of "Two And a Half Men", will be a "broken-hearted internet billionaire', to be introduced over a two-part episode, during the ninth season of the popular sex-crazed CBS TV sitcom, debuting September 19, 211.
To counter the event, former "Men" series star Charlie Sheen will have a Comedy Central roast airing on September 19, the same night the show premieres, while suing his former bosses for $100 million over his firing.
The first episode of the new season, that starts filming August 5, has a reported storyline of the death of character 'Charlie Harper'. His brother 'Alan' and his son, will be crushed by the news as the screen goes black.
The funeral is attended by all the female co-stars that appeared for 9 years during the series run, complete with scripted digs at the character, according to the mood of series creator Chuck Lorre, who was instrumental in removing actor Charlie Sheen from the show.
